Week, not weak, of the library

Every week is a library week for Lila, but the rest of the country will join in on the celebration April 10 - 16. National Library Week immediately (and appropriately) follows the excitement of Belmont’s 1st Annual Literacy Week! This year's theme, "Create Your Own Story @ Your Library," will allow us to celebrate how y’all use the library.

We are hosting an Author Talk with former Nashville Scene writer and Nashvillian Adam Ross at 7pm on Wednesday, April 13. His bestselling debut novel, Mr. Peanut, was described by Stephen King as "The most riveting look at the dark side of marriage since Who’s Afraid of Virginia Woolf?" Curious? Come by and listen to the writer discuss his work and stick around for cookies, coffee, and an autographed copy (if you buy it)!
